On October 9th, Guangdong province unveiled the "Action Plan for Further Promoting the High-Quality Development of Guangdong's Biomedical Industry" (the "Action Plan"). In an interview with SFC, Lin Jian, Vice-General Manager of Bio-Thera Solutions Ltd., noted that the Action Plan has, to some extent, alleviated the challenges faced by Bio-Thera, particularly in the areas of product commercialization and transforming innovation into marketable products.

Regarding the future prospects of the biotech and pharmaceutical industry in Guangdong, Lin Jian anticipates that the Action Plan will draw numerous companies from other provinces to the Greater Bay Area, where they will establish their production and R&D facilities, which is expected to foster a clustering effect. "This clustering effect will be significant, and we expect to witness substantial changes within the next five years," Lin Jian stated.
